I feel like even amongst Marvel fans, Eternals is an outlier.  It feels like they decided on that when they realized they f-ed up Inhumans by making it a bad TV show.  HOW DARE YOU WASTE THE CINEMATIC POTENTIAL OF A GIANT TELEPORTING BULLDOG WITH A TUNING FORK ON HIS HEAD.

But I'm still excited for jacked Kumail Nanjiani and one of Jack Kirby's 70s era properties.  As good as he was at creating most of the Marvel Universe in the silver age, his bronze age work is so wonderfully wacked out with big cosmic ideas so here's hoping the filmmakers go nuts with some over the top crazy ideas.  I mean, in the wake of Guardians, I feel like there's very few ideas that are too out there for the audiences anymore.

I saw Doctor Strange 2 last night.  Good movie.  It was a "busy" movie I would say.  Like, a lot of sensory overload.  Just kind of a lot of things to take in visually, and not a lot of breaks.  Many twists and surprised too.

Big spoilers ahead (hence the spoiler tags).

The trailers and plot synopsis on IMDB are interesting in how they relate to the actual movie.  I don't want to give anything away.  It'll make more sense if you see the movie.

The general theme of the movie is this idea of having godlike powers but still being limited in what you can accomplish with them.  It explores this idea of how different people would deal with that, and how destructive it can be to deal with it in the wrong way.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

Can we please get a Wong spinoff show? About the day to day weird shit he has to deal with as the Sorcerer Supreme.

Um...Christian Bale as Gor The God Butcher looks like the lovechild of Voldemort and Observer.

Looking forward to Thor 4.  Very curious how Jane ended up as a superheroine and how Mjollnir was apparently repaired.

episide 1 of She-Hulk was lots of fun.  Ive heard theres a nod to the Ed Norton Hulk in episode 2 but havent watched it just yet because life has gotten nuts this past week with work schedules

Pastor of Muppets

She-Hulk is kinda stupid.  It feels like it's trying too hard to be whimsical.  And it all kind of feels like Ally McBeal with superheroes.  And it does the law stuff really badly.

I don't remember there being any jokes or anything about Banner's appearance changing.

Yeah, She-Hulk is naturally quite jokey.

Pak-Man

Yeah, She-Hulk was doing the Deadpool thing before there was Deadpool. This show absolutely has the appropriate tone for a She-Hulk series.

Well okay.  If it's staying true to the tone of the original source material, I can't fault it for that.  It's just not my cup of tea I guess.
