QuoteAfter Dune, Denis Villeneuve Will Rendezvous With Rama

First up, Denis Villeneuve needs to complete Dune. That's next on the director's to-do list. After that though, he's just signed on to helm another sci-fi classic from an absolute legend, Arthur C. Clarke. Villeneuve will direct Rendezvous with Rama, based on Clarke's award-winning 1973 novel.

Pak-Man

It's reportedly penned by Al himself, who pledges to keep releasing movies "every 33 years like clockwork" so I'm 100% on-board.

Not sure about the cliche "a story you thought you knew" thing. But I'm excited for a stop motion animated movie from Guillermo Del Toro. And apparently he also has a live action Pinoccio in the works that is unrelated to this.

Man, wouldn't it be cool if he did his In The Mouth Of Madness movie in stop motion animation?!

The only other one I'm aware of is the one by Zemeckis that's also coming out this year.

This article mentions a second one:

QuoteDel Toro's Pinocchio is one of two projects following the puppet-turned-real-boy set to release in 2022. The second is a Disney live-action adaptation starring Tom Hanks, Luke Evans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cynthia Erivo, Keegan-Michael Key and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.
Maybe I misread it and that's the Zemeckis one.

I like the David Bowie tunes in this trailer. I wonder if they are actually in the film?
