The Most Dangerous Game
Feature film ยท 2020

A shipwreck victim finds himself on an island where he's hunted for sport by a count who has one of those sinister-looking, pointy goatees.

With Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy, Bridget Nelson

The Most Dangerous Game encounters problems right out of the gate when it turns out to NOT be about playing Twister nude with an angry badger.

In its defense, it appears to have been filmed during the Monroe administration, so Twister, and quite possibly badgers, had not been invented.

After a heavy storm and some even heavier foreshadowing, a shipwreck victim finds himself on a mysterious island. He's soon at the mercy of an evil count. You can tell he's evil because he has one of those sinister pointy goatees. Oh, and he also hunts human beings for sport.

Please join Mike, Kevin, and Bridget for The Most Dangerous Game

Pastor of Muppets

I'm getting deja vu.  Did they do this on MST3K under the title "Bloodlust"?
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

And why are they calling this "The Most Dangerous Game"?  I watched it and don't see a single scene featuring Human Murder Scrabble.

I think Bridget filled in for Bill because his Wife's been in the hospital with COVID for the last month. (Reportedly, she's on the mend and Bill is doing fine.)

For anyone who was honestly wondering:
It's taken me awhile, but I'm pretty sure the creepy tapestry depicts the r*pe of Deianira by Nessus the Centaur, from the story of Hercules' death.  I didn't figure this out until I realized the figure holding the girl's body, with an arrow through him, that forms the door knocker was the same bestial-looking man -- but now as he was slain by Herc with a bow and arrow -- and not a father holding his dead child's body as I originally thought.

And here I thought it was a painting of Cormoran (sp?) from Jack the Giant Killer.

"Ow! Right in the same spear-hole... what are the odds?"
