The Most Dangerous Poll

I've been watching some of the Sherlock Homes riffs that Mary Jo and Bridget have been doing, and I would rank this as about the same. Which, for me, is meh. It's kind of a comfort food feeling---a well-colorized version of movies I probably saw as a kid on Saturday or Sunday afternoon TV. So if I rank this critically--which I have--it's just kinda there. But for the mood I've been in lately, that is ideal. It'd be nice if I got more than smiles from them, but there's something nice about kicking back and watching a really old movie with "friends" Kevin, Mike and Bridget. I hope Bill is back soon, but Bridget was perfectly fine.
It's just a right down the middle of the road riff for me. What did ya'll think?
Earlier today I severed my own head and attached it to the bell of this baritone saxophone.

It seems you posted this in the wrong sub-forum.  This is for "The Most Dangerous Game".  Maybe you can contact a moderator to move it?
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

It's the right poll. The OP led by comparing it to the Sherlock riffs, but this is all about The Most Dangerous Game.

If you can think of a more appropriate sub-forum, let me know  ;)

It didn't have a ton of laughs per minute, but the movie was pretty entertaining and had some legit class. It averages out to a solid riff.

Oh okay.  The opening sentence threw me.

I'm not trying to be a stickler.  I don't really care, but mistakes happen and when you post stuff in the wrong place on a forum, it usually deprives you of the kind of discussion you were seeking.

This one meh. I like the Mary Jo and Bridget Sherlock Holmes riffs though.

CJones

It was pretty Meh. Bridget and Mary Jo work well together, and so do Bridget and Mike. Bridget and Kevin do not. It just feels weird.

This is my first time watching this version of the story. It's actually very solid. The riffs were also solid. Not great, but enjoyable. But I think since this is my first time watching it that helped.

That was my reaction as well -- as it was to the Sherlock films, which I stopped buying. I'm not criticizing the riffers per se, and I'm certainly not in a huff over $10 entitling me to Maximum Entertainment, but a lot of the recent riffs just seem to be "there" -- nothing I feel compelled to hear again. And then I wonder if it's them or me who might be getting tired of riffing.

On the plus side: I do appreciate hearing a different combination of riffers, and feel that it may take a few stabs to find the unique strength/chemistry of a given combination of riffers.
