Holiday fireplace videos. We all love them, they bring comfort and cheer to our living rooms and family gatherings. But have they ever made you laugh?

We're proud to present a new kind of fireplace video, one filled with festive comedy and music to be enjoyed by all! And yes, don't worry, there is still a fireplace. A nice one, too!

The RiffTrax Yule Log is over two hours long, packed with new Christmas riffs, original songs written and performed by the guys, classic carols, nose flutes, skits and excerpts from beloved RiffTrax hits of holidays past!

There's truly nothing like it, and no better way to keep your loved ones happy and smiling as the egg nog kicks in.

Even the Ice Cream Bunny gives it his "HURR HURR HURR" seal of approval! Spend your holidays nice and cozy with Mike, Kevin, Bill, Bridget, and Mary Jo, it's the RiffTrax Yule Log!

Now I want the complete At least it got a lot more play than all the rerun stuff.

So I have to ask...does it look like that the whole time? With the video being a tiny portion of the screen. Or is that just something they did for the preview video so it wouldn't get flagged on YouTube?

I was kind of interested either way, so I took the plunge to find out. It looks like that the whole time. And there are stretches with just the fire going and nothing playing. I guess it's really supposed to function like those Yule Log Videos, but with occasional riffs and songs. It's odd and I kind of love having it.

Hm. Intriguing. I may have to pick it up. Kind of wish it wasn't just in the corner though.

Yes. It looks like that the whole time. I had it playing in the background as I did other things and enjoyed it for what it is.
Was it something I'd want to really sit and watch with my full attention? Probably not, but it's perfect for background noise around the holidays.

I haven't picked it up yet but I have a feeling it's gonna be one of my favorites. I love stuff I can just zen out to, which explains why I've watched Setting Up a Room so much. :D

Seeing as I'm now living in a tropical country where the highs are in the eighties or nineties rightnow, and I usually watch rifftrax on my laptop while sitting out on my balcony, watching this is gonna be kind of weird. Could they do a version with a fan blowing, lizards crawling on the wall (hey, they eat the mosquitoes) and mosquitoes buzzing around?

By the way, are these all new riffs or is there some "highlight" material?

Some of both.

So no full riff of It's a Wonderful Life then?
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Not yet, anyway.

Watched it last night and it is the perfect "put it on when you are doing other things" kind of deal.  I will say after years of watching yule logs on a crappy loop in some videos, watching the logs actually burning down is a nice change of pace.

I watched it in spurts over the holidays.

I thought it was fun and refreshing to see them try something new out. The highlights were fun and well chosen.

My favorite new riffs were the Peanuts special, It's a Wonderful Life, and whatever that was with Keira Knightley. That latter was hilarious.

Good for those who like to fall asleep to riffs. I'm not one of those people but I once had a girlfriend like that.
