If you are a fan of the web series "No Small Parts", an examination of the careers often lesser known character actors, the old episodes are getting taken down in a week before the series transitions to an IMDB series. The old ones can be downloaded via dropbox, but if you want to watch them before they are, go here. I highly recommend the Keith David episode.

I am not the sort of person that gives huge praise to musicians for doing pretty good compared to the original, or to young musicians because they gave it a good effort. These kids seriously crush Barracuda, and that singer can wail.

Back in college I learned that Tough, Though and Through were the hallmark of the ludicrous nature of English pronunciation. This video demonstrates what it would sound like if English pronunciation was consistent. It is strange. Partly because the further the video goes, the more it starts to sound like Nordic languages. But also, the Shakespeare at the end sounds more like the original pronunciation than modern interpretations do.

Love this kinda stuff. Gallagher actually has one of my favorite bits like this. Y'know, I've always wondered why the same jokes by a guy who smashes watermelons for 10% of his act doesn't get the respect he's owed. You can skip to 1:49 for the grammatical part, but the whole thing is great to me.
