I don't think they ever want to say one way or another what they will NEVER riff.  I mean eventually, someday we might get riffs of Dune or Red Dawn.  Maybe right now they look at those movies and say "absolutely not" but then in six months or a year or so they look again and decide "hey why not."

Well, it's not like they couldn't change their minds about riffing a movie down the line.

It doesn't seem like they are interested anyway, since there has been no feedback from anyone at Rifftrax about the idea.

I read the previous posts and I'm not sure what specific idea you're referring to.

If it's about movies getting riffed on, the answer will always be the same. "Never say never." That's handled quite well in the FAQ, I think.

Is there some other "idea" you've alluded to that I'm missing?

The basic gist of my idea was to continue the free clips (like the political ads and The Departed clips) by picking scenes from requested movies that are likely never to get done as a full Rifftrax.  That way at least we can get a taste of what might have been.

It was a response to all the drama about recent movie selections.  Obviously this idea doesn't seem to have a lot of support.

Ah. THAT idea! I actually think it's a decent premise. I'm trying to figure out if providing our own clips would be good, or if we had a contest where users could add their own clips and maybe the ones that get rated on the most will get riffed on.

Not sure anything like this would be possible, since I'm not the one who decides on these things. But it's something I can bring up next chance I get.
