Dont forget, it is the Theatrical Version

Dang  :(

Stupid New Line releasing a Theatrical and Extended cut on DVD. Why couldn't have just been the Extended one, then they would've had to have riffed that one...

Oh well, off to the local video rental store.

I recommend Blockbuster Online. Now you can use your "return envelope" (with the movie inside of course), bring it into the store and exchange it for another movie. Now you can have another free movie while you wait for your next one!

I'm really looking forward to this one.  Love the movie, can't wait to see it riffed.

Oh crap. This means I actually have to sit through Fellowship?!  I've tried several times and even tried to view it in several sittings. I just can't do it.  I either fall asleep, get distracted by other stuff or just give up.  I still don't think I've seen the end.  Sadly enough, I even own the film and still haven't seen it.  An Orlando Bloom fan teenager demanded I watch it so I could see the godliness that is Legolas...needless to say, I didn't see it and it crushed her that I didn't as she hugged her Orlando pillow.

Maybe Mike and Kevin can keep my interest but I hope they don't get offended when people fall asleep and drool during their rifftrax (why should they, it's my money I'm gonna be wasting).  I also hope neither one has an Orlando Bloom pillow or the horn for Legolas.

Really? Lifetime ADDer here and the LOTR flicks are one of the few things that can hold my interest for 3 hours...

I don't know what it is, I'm normally into all things dorky  ;)  I even love the books.  The movies just...gah, I'd honestly rather gouge my eyes out with a spork than watch.  However, I'd say the same about some of the movies done on mst3k and they turned out ok in the end.  Maybe I can finally tell Elizabeth (previously mentioned obsessed teen) that I finally watched Fellowship and survived.

We did a lock-in where I was chaperon not too long ago and she brought the entire trilogy and was all bouncy "We're going to watch them all back to back!!!"  I brought a book, lol.

Since I haven't really seen it I can't honestly criticize it though. Elizabeth says you have to get through the first bit before it gets good but apparently the "first bit" is 2 hours long.  Maybe I'm just crass and refuse to like anything.  There are very few movies that I can't bring myself to sit through though.

Man, things just keep getting better and better!

Might have to check the feedback and see what stance Mike and Kevin take, VERY excited about this one though.
