I loved him.  I hope there has been enough praise so far that Mike decides to bring him back.

Also, I do understand what the close minded dude above was saying.  I've gotten a bunch of different riffs with different people so I'm definitely open minded to guest riffers and I like some of them ... BUT the dream team of Mike, Kevin, and Bill is my favorite and I've got every single riff with the three of them.  I don't care what the movie is, if the Dream Team is riffing it then I'm there.  So, I don't automatically dis a riff if there's a guest but I do get where that dude was coming from.

I have his name tattooed on my testies.

... which is weird, because I hadn't heard of him until the riff came out.

His whole name?  Got yourself a pair of low hangers eh GalvaTRION?
I am not above projectile vomiting to get my way

You're not kidding. I hear Lileks's middle name is Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Boy, did THIS come back to haunt me one day later!  LMFAO!  There was no way in hell I was EVER going to sit through Cloverfield under any circumstances ... and then The Dream Team is racking that up next.  Grrrrrr.  >:(

Running is terribly painful.

Thanks to this riff, I now consider the six hours in the tattoo chair have been worth it.

I just wanted to say that Lileks is my FAVORITE guest riffer!  I hope he gets invited back!

I actually saw the Spider-Man 3 riff over at a friend's house and was so impressed that I registered here and paid for the riff even though I have no plans on downloading it!  Lileks and Mike did a fantastic job and made a mediocre movie VERY enjoyable and funny!  :)

I've never heard of Lileks, and however good a job he might have done on this one I'm still hesitant to buy it because I didn't find the riffing of the first Spiderman movie that funny.

I think most of the guest riffers have done a good job. If there was a weak one in the lot, I'd have to say it was Lowtax from Troll 2. He had some good moments, but I thought his voice was a little too grating for my tastes and his material was a little too focused on whether or not there would be trolls in the movie.

We want a Mac Rifftrax player, NOW!, no more delays, no more vaporware!

Well, to be fair, I think we blackmailed Mike into even doing this movie and Lowtax had a fairly popular review of this movie on his website.

Oh yeah, forgot about him. I don't know if I thought of him as a "riffer", since he only made a handful of comments during the whole thing. I thought of him as more of a novelty like Disembaudio than a true guest riffer.

Doc Steve

Hello folks, this is my first post.  I didn't get into RiffTrax until after Cinematic Titanic began releasing DVDs for some reason.  (The fact that my last computer actually ran on coal may have had something to do with it.)

Lileks would be the third best guest IMHO.  I just finished Spider-Man 1-3 this weekend.

3. Lileks
2. Josh Fruhlinger (Spider-Man 2)
1. Neil Patrick Harris (Willy Wonka)

NPH pretty much carried Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.  As good as Lileks and Fruhlinger were, they never really outperformed the "professionals."

I haven't seen Missile to the Moon yet.  I love Fred Willard, so I have high hopes for that one.

Darth Geek

I did really like Lileks, but I wonder why he was brought in to help with the writing yet Weird Al wasn't? Was it just about schedule?

not so bad really

I thought I was going to be in trouble when I heard Lileks go on his nerdy Spiderman diatribe during the opening credits.

But by the end I was a firm believer.  He delivered punch lines perfectly, had the tone of cynicism in his voice throughout the movie that just made me laugh, and he and Mike had great chemistry.  I look forward to seeing more of him.

I'm also glad that I'm not the only one in the Bill Corbet corner.  When he replaced Trace a lot of people gave him some slack, but I don't know, he has always been the funniest riffer imho.  I guess its his smart ass tone.

I too am a dedicated member of the Cor-bot army.

i had to get used to his riffs being on the long side and wordy but he's got a great announcer voice and did a great job.. :highfive:
