Noneed to edit.  What the hell was the Spoon short about?

Funny stuff.
Me Stan. Bachomp Ba chuey chomp.  Ba Chuey chomp.

Great to see that all you geneosuses (is that how you spell it?) know how to split mp3's and all that, but I don't!

Anyway, the second one was so outer-spacey, they all just kind of stared at the thing dumbfounded anyway.

All I ask for is 27 cents back!  Just kidding, I synched up the second one well enough to enjoy it...as much as anyone CAN enjoy it.   :rimshot:
I'll Say It. You'll Hear It. You'll Do It. I'll Get It. You'll Learn It. I'll Live With It. And You'll Die Without It.

I was going to just make it one video but the damn videos are different frame rates. Oh well I got it to work now.

What the hell?

Cathy - Talk about no closure! All the lead up! It really was not a horrifically bad short. It just left us hanging with no answer to our ... excuse me ... his question. DAMMIT! WHY DON'T YOU EAT BREAKFAST?!

Petaluma - What ... the ... hell? The guys were right when they made the David Lynch call. The entire thing played out like a Lynch movie ... except it was bad ... but perhaps we're just missing the bigger meaning behind it. Seriously. That was the most confusing video I've ever seen.

Overall, the guys did a great job. The video was short, but it was packed with riffing.

One thing I noticed, though, is that these shorts really don't feel much like the ones on MST3K. I guess most of the shorts on Mystery Science Theater were done during Joel's years so the riffing style was different because of that, but the style of jokes certainly feels much, much different. I kind of miss Joel's obscure pop-culture references and different style of comedy. Maybe the next Cinematic Titanic won't be such a downer movie and I'll be able to get my fix of both generations.

Anyways, I LOVE these shorts. Keep them coming!

I am baffled that there could be a belief that RiffTrax does not dish out obscure pop-culture references when the longest running joke in RiffTrax history is a cartoon character from a German childrens show.

Sweet.  I'm not splitting mine, leaving it as a double feature.  Makes numbering easier.  Plus, they reference one in the other.  So together they stay.

By the way...  to sync both together, there's about 1 second between the end of "Cathy" and the start of "Petaluma"  (Cathy aborts at 4:06.04 and I have the chicken short starting at about 4:07.06 into the riff).

And the Petaluma acid trip had me laughing myself to tears!

I watched the shorts unriffed first, and thought "How are they gonna make these funny?  There is no dialog."
God was I wrong.  This is the funniest short yet.  This should play every time you visit the home page.

Good job!

Hey, I got Cathy easily off YouTube, but I don't have Quicktime Pro, can anyone help out with the Chicken short on Archive.org? I can't seem to download it.

When I try to download, it tells me I need Quicktime Pro, and I don't wanna buy that. I'm probably doing this wrong.

Well I'm actually Control Clicking with my Mac, but you shouldn't need quicktime to download the MPEG-2 version.
Are you going to reauthor the short?  Or are you having Divx issues?

I'm reauthoring, nearly done with Cathy now. Lemme rephrase that, I'm nearly done with the first short now.

Short 2 is kind of a bitch to sync.  I combined the 2 videos together, and then stripped the audio off.  That seemed to be less of a pain to sync.
