"I've been sticking $30 in pennies up my ass for the past 11 years! That's 3,000 pennies a day; 21,000 pennies a week; 1,092,000 pennies a year! To date that's 12,012,000 pennies, 8 times the population of Nebraska. Those pennies were in my ass! You think you're better than me? Oh, you're not better than me. You handle my ass pennies every day. You pick up my ass pennies for good luck. You throw my ass pennies in fountains and make wishes on them. You give my ass pennies to your little daughter to buy gumballs with. You handle my ass pennies every day! All of you! You all handle my ass pennies! Oh, I laugh at you before you can laugh at me. Because your pennies have been in my ass. You hear me? Your pennies have been in my ass!"

I never heard that Dick Cheney quote before.

Satan's Jockstrap

Cheech & Chong

The Mighty Boosh

Flight of the Conchords

Tom Green (he seems like the evil, twisted little brother Joel Hodgson never had).

There is no place like that here.

What about ESPN.com's Bill Simmons?

A few reasons being

- He's mentioned in a few columns that he's an MST3K fan

- He has a big following, probably the most popular writer on espn.com which is saying something. But he also would probably be an easy get. So

that's doubly good for business purposes

- He talks about movies almost more than sports in his columns

- He's a really funny writer. Well..... I think so anyway

- He does a frequent podcast so he'll be comfortable behind the mic.

- There's a ready made cache of movies he could possibly do. (The Karate Kid movies, Hoosiers, the Rocky movies, etc)

Just seems like a logical choice.

TTYT

Greg Giraldo, `cause the man needs something to do in between celebrity roasts.

That, or other Roasters:

-Jeffery Ross

-Dennis Leary

-Colin Quinn

Or....Garey Busey AND Bob Saget (this would be perfect for a Zardoz riff, if they ever do one...)

Felicia Day.

For something geeky of course.

I'll second that. I hadn't seen The Guild until recently, but after doing a marathon of all the episodes currently available (at 5-10 minutes each, it's not so hard), I bow at the greatness that is Ms. Day. Oh, and speaking of The Guild and its recent guest stars, Wil Wheaton still needs to do a TNG Rifftrax.

I had never heard of Bill Simmons before so I checked out his page on ESPN.com, the podcast was pretty awful, he spent 5 minutes talking about the Real World so I had to turn it off. Next I clicked an article about the New England Patrioits, dude is a great writer. I think as long as BS does a Rifftrax of a sports related movie he'd do great... his tastes in pop culture television... not so much. My choice for first sports movie would be Mystery Alaska, man I'd love to see that one Rifftrax'd.
Anyway, chalk up another vote for Bill Simmons from me.

I'd throw Patton Oswalt in this mix but I think Mike has something against him. He's slammed him a couple of times.

Patton Oswalt is a tool.

And not a useful one, like a rudimentary lathe.

Yeah, I told one of my friend something like that when, giving his opinion of Transformers 2, called Michael Bay a tool.

To which I said to him, "I disagree, Tomford. For you see, a tool is USEFUL and serves a purpose."

Although Mike, Bill, and Kevin have found a pretty good use for his movies. There's no justice in this world if any of his cinematic atrocities go un-riffed. But at the same time, I can't ask such nice fellas to do that to themselves. And let's face it, they're not as young as they were in the MST3K days. Watching all his movies could kill them.

Oh, and fuck you guys, I love Patton Oswalt. ^_^ Probably because I'm almost as jaded and pessimistic as he is in his act.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

Well, like any mode of entertainment, stand-up is completely subjective.

I don't know him or his work ebough to judge, I just wanted an excuse to make a rudimentary lathe refference.
