The Angry Video Game Nerd is very smart, and I'm sure he'd have a lot of insight into whatever faults were coming up in the movie, but I don't know how funny he could be if he wasn't allowed to swear. The bulk of his humor comes from his angry reactions to stupid stuff in video games.

If he came on the show, he'd have to do a kaiju movie.

Okay, I checked all the posts in this thread... and it get a huge WTF from me.

Why has Robin Williams not been mentioned yet?

Just let him ad-lib the whole thing.  Improv comedy is where he really shines - just put him in a booth with the movie and a microphone and edit if necessary.

Because he is the most annoying human being on the planet.

He would overpower the whole thing.  He is a one-man machine, and wouldn't fit in too well with a partner.  But I might be wrong.  If he's a big fan, then sure.

Better Idea:  Put one of his shows under the "What to Riff next?" thread.

This would need to incorporate the CinTitanic method of freezing the video (and lots of it)--just to give any opening for a riff.

Mike:  Robin, we haven't heard the last 20 minutes of the film, since you're still riffing on that ONE line!

I wouldn't mind a Robin Riff, but it would need to be a separate event track to listen to AFTER watching the movie.

"And now here's Robin Williams on the movie you just watched..."

I suppose a Robin riff would definitely have to be recorded separately, and edited so that Mike and the movie can get a word in edgewise.  And as long as they can keep him away from political oriented riffs, it shouldn't get annoying.

Mike would likely have to record his part separately.  It would probalby be hard not to laugh a lot while sitting next to a live ad-libbing Robin Williams in full riff mode.

Gaseous Snake

Mike: "Welcome to Rifftrax, with me today is Ro-"
Robin: "BlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlah"
Mike: "Press play again on this Rifftrack. Okay, one, tw-"
Robin "BlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlahBlah"
Mike: "Okay, and we're back."
Continue gag till the end of the movie.

I'm going to say a few that have been mentioned before. But here are my top 10 in no particular order

1. Joel - for obvious reasons
5. Bruce Campbell - He seems like he'd be a natural at it
9. Tom Wilson - Biff from the Back To The Future movies. He's a comic by trade and I think it would translate well.
2. Kevin Smith - Natural sarcasm that would fit perfectly.
7. Seth Green - A lot of what he does for Robot Chicken is in the same vein
4. Mark Hamill - A lot of people don't know that he has an oddball sense of humor too.
3. Conan O'Brien - Not sure about his availability, plus I think he's based in New York.
10. Michael Shanks/Christopher Judge - From the Stargate TV show. These guys are absolute comedy gold together.
8. John Cleese - Again, not sure of his availability or how willing he would be, but any Python cast member I think would do well.
5. Michael Richards - Like said above, he was just as funny as Al in the UHF commentary.

Alas, his stock is not trading real high right now...

Maybe he could riff "The Color Purple"

Bill Fagerbakke - look him up

What's he doing these days? Last time I saw him was on an episode of Heroes, back in the first season.
