Invading your local cinema next winter is a new work of evil The Hobbit. The Hobbit follows on from the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and seemingly has brought everyone back to "Middle Earth" from the dead. Peter Jackson has once again stepped up as Satan's Little Helper to direct the two-part film and is once again using witchcraft and wizardry to peddle the film, even though the books had strong Christian undertones (good vs evil; Christians vs Atheists) but Jackson being the self-proclaimed Atheist he is obviously doesn't want to present this movie in the way it was meant by Tolkien. Let's vote with our wallets and send a big message to Hollywood and Jackson; Christians will NOT tolerate this blatant Anti-Christian bigotry and Atheist propaganda. Our children's minds are filled with enough poison these days from the media without us as parents actively doing the same while filling liberal fat cats' coffers.

I must have missed how Jackson removed all the Christian undertones from the first three movies.  Oh and no one have been brought back from the dead(except Gandalf)The Hobbit is a PREQUEL!  It comes BEFORE the Lord of the Rings!

I am really not surprised.  Not one bit.

I have to say I am,I didn't see this one coming. I mean i don't remember anyone protesting The Lord of the Rings.  Still with Harry Potter gone I guess they have to protest something.

Yeah on the one side you have people who freakout if there is magic in a fantasy film,On the other you have people who freak out if you wish them a Merry Christmas, and the rest of the world is stuck in the middle having to watch these people fight, boycott, and sue everyone on earth.

Thing is, (And they pointed it out themselves) The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are very pro-Christian books. They're not all in-your-face about it, but the Christian ideals are alluded to. Tokien himself was a die-hard Catholic, and even pulled the more-notoriously-Christian C.S. Lewis off the Atheism-train. Don't know or care about Jackson's beliefs, but unless he's changing the message of The Hobbit from "Go out there and live life to the fullest" to "Start hating God", I don't see the harm in letting him direct a positive story rooted in some Christian believes.

If my Christian bretheren MUST go about throwing stones (Protip: We're not supposed to.) they should at least throw them at the other team.

And that's all the overt Christianity I have in me for this year.I shall resume being more subtly Christian now. :^)

Also unless Jackson has changed a great deal since 2001 I don't think he is going to be messing with the message of the books.  He didn't with The Lord of the Rings so what makes these people think he will with The Hobbit?

Yes he did. He completely changed Faramir's character. He rewrote Aragorn. He massively rewrote Arwen.  Maybe if you read the books you'd know these things, but books aren't shown on blu-ray players.

You know what the old me would have told you off for that pointless personal attack that missed the whole point of my post.  The new me sees you for what you are.  A sad wast of a human life. You feel so bad about yourself you have to grab any chance you see to attack other people claiming they are more stupid then you just so you can prove to yourself that your are not a total waist of a human life. No facts that I put before you will change your mind because you have to attack other people for being more stupid then you or your life has no point and you would have to end it. These pointless personal attacks are your only reason for living. They don't hurt me in the least they just prove what a wast you are and i will not be wasting any of my time defending myself from them.  If you need to attack me in order to keep going feel free, but I will not be engaging with you any more.

Everyone please ignore him from now on,I don't need you to defend me against him.  All it does is derail threads and it is not worth it.  I don't need to be defended from attacks by "people" like him.

Thank you.

Now about that Hobbit movie that is coming out in a year that is based on one of my favorite books.
