Raven

What did we learn from the movie?

I learned that you should always slap people who wear turbans on the back of the head just to check for evil entities.

Junkyard

I learned that some Hermione jokes are unavoidable.

Also, I learned that wizards get presents from Satan.

Compound

I've learned that

Snape wants these #$%&@ muggles off his  #$%&@ plane!

Sorry.  It's been a long day...

RobtheBarbarian

I learned -or maybe just got the impression- that for some reason wizard fashion has remained stagnant for 200 years, staying in the Victorian era while non-wizard fashion has evolved.

everybody in diagon alley is dressed like they came out of a dickens novel

Jinto

I learned that hundreds of owls congregating primarily on one property in the neighborhood is no reason to stand around outside gawking or to contact animal control, or maybe the police.

Sheik Yerbouti

I learned that to avoid any potential problems in your wizarding school, it's best to put all the evil children together in the same group.

bratpop

I learned that some children are sent to wizard school for no reason whatsoever and are taught magic without responsibility, and the only useful result of this is when they need someone to fight the kids who grow up and use magic irresponsibly.

Minnesota

We learned that Harry Potter's family is willing to move and live on a secluded island despite supposedly hating him... Harry must cook a mean breakfast ham.

RoninFox

I learned that spending a year breaking at least one school rule a day will get you a trophy!

I learned that British schools are much tougher than American schools.

Tyrant

I learned that the magical community uses magic for absolutely no practical purposes at all, other than "Hey! It's magical! It looks cool!!!"

Good examples of this are the staircases that move around in the school for no purpose other than to confuse students, the teacher that morphs into a cat for no real specific reason, candles floating above the school's mess hall, and paintings that animate.
