I had a massive collection of Transformers when I was a kid but tragicly they were cut short in the prime of their careers by a house fire.  I was demoralized by that event and my collection never recovered.

Now that majorly sucks.  I had a friend at my old job that had the same thing happen to his G.I. Joe collection, and that collection was likely worth thousands.

This is why, at some point, I'm investing in one of those fire/flood-proof safes. I know they tell you to put things like expensive jewelry, title deeds and marriage licenses in them, but I'll be stuffing mine with all my rare toys and autographed items. I'm sure Pak will understand.

The autographed items I understand, but even rare toys can be replaced.  The safer bet is to insure them for replacement cost and keep pictures of them all in a fireproof box.  Ebay can be a great thing.  Ignore this if you have plenty of room in the safe for the toys.

And as a side note, it's not the best idea to try to protect your pets from fire by locking them in a fireproof safe.

I you can afford a ton of rare and expensive toys over the years, you can also put away some money for a pretty good sized safe, it's likely a good idea.

Maybe Transformers toys are what Cheney keeps in his man-size safe.  He goes in there, locks the door, and plays with them for hours.

  Maybe just Megatron.

I think Cheney'd be more of a Starscream, if you get me.

True, I was going for the second in command who wants all the power for himself angle though.

I don't know, guys. You're picking characters considered in the TF mythos to be badasses (yes, even Starscream). Cheney doesn't strike me as a badass. I suggested Megatron because Cheney obviously likes guns. But if it's to be a character association, it not only has to be an evil TF, but a really lame TF.

Hmm.  G1 Starscream wasn't near the badass as future versions.  He was mostly talk.  Even so, you do make a good point.

Maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. We're assuming Decepticon, but what we ought to be looking at is an Autobot with evil intentions. Just like in real life!!!

bettertomorrowamy

He's more like Dinobot from Beast Wars.

I don't know what would be worse, not knowing what the next Rifftrax is, or knowing that it's Transformers and that we still have another week until it comes out.

Why does Michael Bay have to be so good at sucking so hard?!?
