I ordered mine.

Meanwhile, Bratpop... you want CGI cartoons making fun of the movie? Um... wow.
I think the idea of sillouettes being able to interact with the movie at different levels, with more theatrical props, is a new enough thing to justify it's exsistence.

Meanwhile, I hate to say it, but CT and RT could BOTH easily be called MST3K 2.0. Accept it and enjoy it.

I know it's usually $10 for a Rifftrax DVD plus $4 for the Rifftrax, if you're lucky, but Cinematic Titanic seems really expensive for movies that we know are crap. I mean, this used to be on TV for free. Why can't they make money from advertising the way everyone else in the known galaxies does?

So you want commercials in the middle of the programming? I mean, that is how it worked on MST.   ::)

I got mine ordered as well. Its too bad we can't download this, but i cant wait to see this whole thing together.  The trailer looked really promising!

Let's just be happy Bratpop that we can see Joel again doing the riffing. I always liked his episodes and this does seem like there is a lot of potential for this (once the get the kinks out of it). I really think that with these silhouettes they can do a lot more, and its nice to see a few more people in the "theater" than just Joel/Mike and the Bots.  Don't be too judgmental until you see them get these things going and are in the "groove."

Bob

Man, I dont visit the site or check my e-mail for a day and all heck breaks lose!

Ordered mine 5 minutes ago and since we waited 15 years or so to hear this group riff, we can wait the 10 days, come on people!

Stinks about only being available in region one..... like someone else wrote, this only shows the genius that is rifftrax in MP3 format and Divx.

Curious if later movies are available to be downloaded if you can order them overseas, I am sure you could (I hope).

For those outside region one, I could order you a copy and mail it to you (and/or burn as a region free disc) if we can settle up via paypal.   I think that would make it all legal, right?

Pak-Man

Well as I understand it, the Shipping-Only thing is a temporary situation. It bites to be one of the many who have to wait, but I don't think this was anyone's plan at all. No need to berate them for reacting in a crisis and trying to get SOMETHING out there for us. Especially after everyone was sitting around wishing for SOMETHING.

We may even get another downloadable release before this one's available via download, so the wait isn't even necessarily 'til February before we can all enjoy some Cinematic Titanic.

This was a glitch. Not the preferred distribution method. Let's see how future releases pan out.

Like I said before. Rifftrax has spoiled us. :^)

You get the feeling Joel just wanted to do MST3k again but couldn't get the rights, so he changed it a little.

That's exactly what happened Frank mentioned at the most recent Cartoon Dump that Joel wanted to restart MST3K but Jim wouldn't let him.

Well you wouldn't have to reburn it, it's nothing to do with the region or format, it's that Cinematic Titanic (for whatever reason) have told EZTakes "Don't allow sales of this title to people outside North America".  Unfortunately if it was a download the situation would still be the same, it's not the media, it's just the licensing/distribution agreement is based on geography.

Wow.  If that is indeed the case, that's just... wow.

I wonder if that made Jim restart MST3k by himself....

Bairman

Initially I was excited... now I'm disappointed.  I have little confidence in the distribution company and the price is too high for a crap movie on a burned disc.  CT may have already lost a customer.  I'll wait and see how things unfold, but for now they're not getting my money.

Damn it.

BathTub

That kind of confuses me, I mean, is there currently another service that offers Brain of Blood for download, but won't in april?
