Miku Fan, have you ever donated blood? I ask because it's hard to get blood from a turnip.  ;D

Just noticed a follow-up.  Categories are Horror/Slasher, 80s cheese, and Miscellaneous.

Gotta love that there miscellaneous!

I'm guessing this one is our horror/slasher... (Or maybe '80s Cheese? Miscellaneous?)

Definitely 80s cheese.  I've heard of this one before and the climactic scene (of which I've seen a clip of) must be seen to be believed.

Did anyone else happen to notice that this 3-pack of releases will bring the total number of RiffTrax (not counting the RiffTrax Presents) to a full 200?!

EDIT:  Full numbered listing inside spoiler (for size).

I did not notice.

Features only, or does that include shorts?

Hell no, we passed 200 shorts years ago.

And is it 200 different movies, or are there reriffs in there?

Just edited the original post to include the full list.

That 200 is only counting the ones that are unique scripts.  So even though Mike did some solo pre-RiffTrax riffings (e.g. Night of the Living Dead), the MK&B version 'counts' because it was all-new.  But the re-recording by MK&B [075.1, I call it, as it was released after RT 075] of Missile to the Moon [orig. 045] doesn't.

So: "all new, all different" counts.

EDIT: the only reason I noticed is because I save copies of the 'movie posters' and number them as they come out.  That was the only way I could also quickly whip up a listing of all of them.

There must be close to 270 shorts now, I've got over 260 and haven't gotten around to buying the last few releases.

Man just when I'm gonna start backing up all my reauthored RiffTrax DVDs and Shorts volumes to my hard drive... :speechless:

I just let Conor know.

Cool! :)

And, just for the record (since you asked indirectly) here's a numbered list of the 243 shorts:

EDIT:  MartyS, the site only says "245" and when I selected that it showed some compilations (so I think that number is high).  I'm not sure where your other ones come from (unless I missed 17 and Torgos missed 15 when he set up the catalog sort).

28 Volumes at 8 shorts each
+ Batman Serials (15)
+ Balloonland
= 240

What am I missing ???

I just had the post after MartyS's with the listing of the 243 in it to compare if you want.  Oh, and they consider 'Balloonland' a feature.
