My fave is probably For Your Eyes Only.  Hot chick, Moore acting tough, and a gunfight that, for a Bond movie, didn't seem silly.

...hot chick? The mannish unibrow lady?

I dig long dark hair.

So do I. I just don't like it over the bridge of her nose.

I wouldn't talk that way about a Greek chick with a crossbow pointed at your junk.

While, technically she's FRENCH playing a Greek, but she's certainly up there on the looks scale.  Certainly better than a wristwatch poison dart in the eye.

But it is true, For Your Eyes Only is possible the contributor to the joke, "That's No Woman, That's a MAN, Baby!"  But it was a character during the pool scene, not a main character, and despite rumors to the contrary, Roger Moore did NOT make out with him/her.  It's on Snopes, look it up.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

If you don't think that "A View To A Kill" is the worst Bond movie.  Go watch it right now......I'll wait......

This one I know, and it never fails to amuse me slightly.

Can you guess which one it is without looking it up?

I don't guess, I just pays my money and takes my chances.

Doctor Who?

Anything with Patrick McNee can't be all bad and I like Moore enough that I can't hate any movie that is his last outing.

It was his last outing for a very good reason.

He wanted to quit after For Your Eyes Only, but the studio didn't want him to.

And they were wrong. The "successful" Bonds always outstay their welcome. Take note, Danny. ;)

Die Another Day was more fun than any of the other Bond movies. I guess I understand why some people hate it, but at least it's not boring like some of them are. Boring will always be a worse movie than just silly.

So are they doing another Daniel Craig snorefest or what? I can only go so long before my need to mock theme songs and titles arises again.

Yup, and suposedly Sam Mendes is directing it, so we'll have to wait a while before the silliness comes back, I'm afraid.

I'd rather not have the silliness back. Some fun, yes. Silliness, no. Die Another Day was not a fun movie, it was terrible. I'd like to see Q, a few gadgets, and some fun creep back in, but I don't want them to overdo it again. That's where they got themselves in trouble last time, and why they had to reboot the franchise. Times have changed. The Bond of old would get his ass kicked today, or at least sued and fired for sexual harassment. Not to mention the Bourne movies completely changed the entire genre (whether for better or for ill, that's your opinion...) A villain like the ones in the previous Bond movies would feel more like an actual parody than a real threat to an audience today. There's still the staple outrageous action sequences in the Craig movies, it's just they kept them within at least some heightened level of realism, and integrated them well into a good story. And I'd like them to keep focusing on a good story first & foremost. I don't know about you, but I find a good story far more entertaining than constant "Hey, look! We're making a joke about a previous movie in our franchise!" in-jokes, terrible innuendic puns that are supposed to be flirty dialogue, and bland action sequences that serve no purpose other than to let the filmmakers show off explosions and bad CG. If you just want that, go watch the Charlie's Angels or the XXX movies. Yes, I want some fun back in the series, but if they fall off into absolute absurdity again, I'm not watching it.

I agree.  I'm not interested in watching a two hour joke.  No joke is funny for two hours.

Unless it's monkeys wearing clothes.

Anything fun or interesting would be nice.

James Bond vs. a plastic bag? No.
