Any line from The Godfather III?

This line from - and I know I'm getting myself into trouble for this one - MST3K: The Movie: "And now, enjoy the Universal classic, This Island Earth..." after you've just been going on and on about how your torturing someone with "the worse movie ever made".   It can't be both.

There's another line that I KNOW is THE worse line in any movie ever....but for some reason I'm blocking it....

:(

sarcasm:  ?s??kæz?m: noun: A form of humor that is marked by mocking with irony, sometimes conveyed in speech with vocal over-emphasis.

From Late Latin sarcasmus, from Ancient Greek ?????????, from ????????? 'gnash the teeth (in anger)', from ???? 'flesh'.

Thank you Wiktionary   ;D

Listen to Trace again.  No sarcasm.

More likely a bad deal with the movie company.   The Brains couldn't tell Grammacy to jump up their butts when Grammacy insisted that line go in.

I don't know.  I distinctly heard implied quotes around the world "classic", he was just short of doing the finger motion.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that.  Sorry.

I suppose so.  Just re-watched it though, and I clearly saw a pause and a sarcastic tilt of the head before "the Universal Classic"

I have to disagree with you on this one, PSCD. There is more than one form of sarcasm. It's not just "well EX-CUSE me!" As Ronin said, he tilts his head slightly, and gives a very flat delivery of the line. This is what we in the business call "deadpan sarcasm." It can be very effective when used properly. It has a subtle irony to it that goes well with a wry sense of humour.

I just watched this yesterday while I was at work. This movie is full of horrible lines. Damn is this movie ever riffable.

The Angry Red Planet

Col O'Bannion : " I remember when I got my first dog. I was crazy about that dog. I wanted him to sleep in my room, but my family wouldn't allow it. I used to go downstairs a dozen times during the night to make sure that he was there."
Dr. Iris 'Irish' Ryan: "Then you were sure?"
Col. O'Bannion: "Uh huh, and pretty soon people will be just as sure of space travel as I was of my dog... -long pause- ...as I'd like to be of you."

a little later on...
Both looking out window of the spaceship into the dark void of space.
Dr. Iris 'Irish' Ryan: "Makes Broadway look like a dark alley."
Col. O'Bannion: "When we get back Irish how about exploring that dark alley... together?"

and a little more later on...
Dr. Iris 'Irish' Ryan: "and listen my name is Iris, not Irish. I never know if you're calling me by name or nationality"
Col. O'Bannion: "When I call you by name, you'll know it."

I think my eyes are trying to escape after reading those lines, I hurt them bad and they hate me now.

From New Jack City:

"This drug shit... it's not a black thing. It's not a white thing. It's a death thing."

"I want to kill you so bad, my dick is hard!"
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Everytime I hear that line I want to reach through my tv and strangle Natalie Portman.  That has to be one of the dumbest lines in cinema history and annoys the shit out of me everytime I watch it.

Oh, but it's her delivery that sells it.

Not.

I don't think that's a bad line, but that the movie it was in was so phenomenally stupid that it's like being in a hammock with a screaming epileptic and expecting your Iced Tea to not spill all over the place and be sticky, then be attacked by flies. Then you're sad when the dollar in your pocket is sticky.

Where was I going with this, again?

What? Halle Berry couldn't make THIS line work?

Storm: Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning?
[pause]
Storm: The same thing that happens to everything else.

Uh...you...GO, girl?
