Cause Earth tech is supposedly backwards engineered from Megatron.

And that justifies a human going to Robot Heaven how?  ???
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

I'm not sure how those two things are related. I interpreted what happened to Sam as being something to do with the Matrix, not the Allspark.

I chalked it up to sloppy writing.

Probably. TFs has never had anything else since day one.

Meh. The G1 cartoon had better storytelling than most 80's Saturday morning cartoons.

No argument on that, but that doesn't mean there weren't countless plot holes the size of Nebraska throughout the series. We overlook them because the characters and stories are interesting and engaging. Likewise for the movies. If the characters and story did it for the viewer, then it's easy to ignore the plot holes.

Would I be freaking you guys out if i told you I'm developing a bit of a crush on Michael Bay? I mean he does have a nice six pack and all...but still he's not as hot as Optimus Prime.

Oh, and here are 10 gaping plot holes from Yahoo concerning revenge of the Fallen:

Serpent O - R

I think a guest Riffer would be good for this one... I'm thinking Weird Al [He did a song for the animated movie as well as a voice for Transformers Animated] or maybe a TF Junkie to do a Chad Vader of sorts... Continuity Prime anyone?

That aside, I hope to get the Riff of this in time for a Christmas viewing.

The movie is barely out of theaters and I can't wait to see this with a Riff Trax commentary.

Nice. I just got an explination from one of my friends explaining at least one part of the plot that had been driving me nuts (news to me, probably not news to some):

Still wondering why the All spark seems to create only murderous, aggressive robots out of Earth technology.

Because they're being born into a Micheal Bay adaptation of an 80's cartoon?

As previously mentioned, my theory is that they're defaulting to Decepticons because their original forms (phones, X-boxes, etc) are reverse engineered from Megatron in the movie universe. Upon being brought to life/sentience, they would have his basic programming and instincts with none of his judgment or control. My other theory is that they're initially reactive and chaotic as newborn mechanical beings, and have to learn to control themselves and "mature".

I like your explanation better.

Now you know some of what I felt about the Star Trek reboot.  Supposedly making the thing for a "wider audience" but the audience doesn't know the whole story unless they've been reading comic books for months prior?

If it didn't happen on screen, it didn't happen.
