Gah! I love the poster, but I don't need newspaper reviews running up and down the side of it. It ruins the solemn tone of the poster.

Doctor Who?

Paramount putting out a DvD of a movie I like with a decent amount of extras?

I must be dreaming.

So the special edition isn't even listed on Amazon.com yet. What gives? I really don't want to buy the standard edition. Any word on how much the special edition will cost?

I'm pretty sure there's only the one version coming out.

Suncoast & FYE will be carrying a steelbook edition, but the DVD will be the same.

There are two different editions listed on Amazon.co.uk, but that might just be a Region 2 thing.

I've looked around, and these are the only two Region 1 releases that I can find:

And as far as I can tell, they are the same disc, just different packaging.

I really like the steelbook, but the statue of liberty cover is also very cool.  They did a good job on these covers.

No, they find it standing in the corner of a cabin and then the movie ends.

So, asking as someone who has crippling motion sickness and thus will never watch this movie...do they kill the monster in the end?

Non-joke answer to your question:

Anyway,

Don't laugh:  I know a few people who would have been considered for the job had there been a novelization.  And if I had any darned motivation, I could have been one of those people too.

Hey, it pays the bills.
