I got suspended from Facebook for 7 days for "an inappropriate comment" because I quoted an MST3K line in an MST3K forum. 
For the record, it was the psychopath line from Werewolf: "You call me a psychopath?" - I'll kill your whole family for that!
I understand it can be seen as a threat taken out of context, it just sucks that these things are decided only by programmed bots that have no context for anything. Artificial intelligence my ass!

I can usually eat stuff that says "made on equipment shared with soy" but I guess I got unlucky with the package of tortillas I opened Friday night, must have gotten the batch right after the machine processed some soy flour.  Spent the last 36 hours taking benadryl and in too much pain to groggy from the benadryl to do anything but sleep.  Last time I got hit this bad was probably 10 years ago when I ate a single cracker that had soy flour in it.  Joint swelling was gone this morning, headache is slowly fading.   Rest of that tortilla package is now out in the back yard feeding the wildlife.

I'm sorry that's happening, MartyS.  I have some experience with food allergies (whole-body itching where I scratch until my skin is bleeding is one of the nastiest reactions I get, though additional brain fog is likely active as well with some).  Unfortunately most people don't get that food allergies are serious (hell, some ignorant people don't 'believe' in peanut allergies!)

So I made a mistake at work last week that cost the company around $200 in shipping. My mistake and I reported it right away and didn't make excuses - my mistake and owned up to it. Holy fuck was that the wrong thing to do! Just 3 weeks after an "exceeds performance" evaluation with examples of how I implemented changes that helped save thousands of dollars and now everything I do is wrong.  My emails are all offensive because I end them in "thanks" instead of "kind regards", email request for some info came in at 4 on Wednesday requesting I have it completed by 5 but I didn't respond until next morning (wasn't at work when request came in due to doctor's  appointment), I put the whole business in danger by catching COVID in September, etc. etc.
After nothing but praise for 3 years I'm bombarded with daily criticism over picky shit. Today it was "we're approaching the end of the year and you haven't scheduled all of your vacation yet, so you're not going to be allowed to take it". Reason is because I cancelled a week a couple of months ago due to request by company. "But you were supposed to have all your vacation for year scheduled by the end of March." I did. You assholes asked me to cancel a week due to business needs and now you're bitching at me and telling me I can't take it because I didn't schedule it in March.

The way the job market is, maybe it's time to find something else before they make any sudden moves toward termination

Meh...it's typical for this company. I'm at the top end of my payrange. They'll try and make me miserable hoping I'll quit and then try and replace me with some kid who they'll pay a lot less. If I don't quit within a couple of months, they'll come to me with a severance offer. Definitely looking and applying other places.

Had to have a basil form of skin cancer removed from my head this morning..

I'm sore and have a bit of a headache...
Looks worse than it is but I'm alright as the years of going to Mexico are starting to catch up with me now

While under anesthesia, I was apparently carrying on a conversation with the doctor and assistants with topics ranging from NFL football to the various hard rock music that was playing in the background.. I apparently was having a good time while they were carving a hole in my head

Wife caught stomach flu that's been going. Did what I could to not catch it, but woke up Thursday night with it and was up all night and spent all day yesterday in between bed and the bathroom with a headache and fever. A bit better today - can at least keep water down and no longer feel like I'm dying - but not something I'd wish on anyone.

Thanks. Took about 4 days to feel back to normal and finally eat something more than chicken soup, so all thongs considered it was short. Feel extremely fortunate that I've never been seriously ill in my life but for a good 24 hours that was the worst I've ever felt - far, far worse than my experience with COVID or past stomach ailments
