Cuz we're not terrorists. Now, should we beat up people who see this movie with bats or towels filled with blunt objects?

Yep, welcome to the Boards.

On a side note, didn't it seem for a while like Cuba was on the road to being too good for this kind of movie, where he's a sequel stand in for Eddie Murphy?

Right, thanks. I knew there had to be a reason... I just couldn't for the life of me come up with one. :P

Actually, the really interesting thing is that Eddie Murphy apparently now considers himself to be above this sort of movie, after one measly Oscar nomination.  So he spurns the role, and it goes to ... an Oscar winner.

And that's all I need to say about the practical worth to one's career of an Academy Award.  I'm tempted to say sooooooo much more, though ... must ... resist ... huge, juicy ... target ...

After Norbit, which forced me to see ads where Eddie Murphy in a fat suit is humping Eddie Murphy ripping off Urkel, I think Murphy should have been forced to do this movie.... with nails driven into his feet.

Why not just blow up a theatre showing it on more than one screen on premiere night, and let their deaths serve as a warning to the others?

Eddie Murphy considers himself above this movie?!  Yet he was in the first Daddy Day Care, I Spy, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, Showtime, Bowfinger, Holy man and Vampire in brooklyn!!!!!! It has been so long since Eddie Murphy has been in a funny movie or funny in a movie that nobody can recall there ever being a funny Eddie Murphy movie in the entire whole of movie history.

This is the same man who was in Boat Trip.  He lost all credibility a long time ago.

On a side note according to his bio he was in Norbit with Eddie Murphy.  You think he told Eddie he was filming a sequel to Daddy Day Care and Eddie just laughed that goofy little laugh of his?

So, we're meant to buy that the stress of running a day-care center has made Eddie Murphy transmogrify into Cuba Gooding Jr?
