I always make my big entrances to the theme from 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'. My smaller entrances are made to the tune from 'The Young and the Restless'.

Mine's going to be the "Anvil of Crom" theme from Conan the Barbarian. The doors'll swing open, a gust of cold air and snow will blow in and my massive, brawny form will trudge through the door covered in animal skins and chainmail.

Stacey

And you shall be redolent of the anal glands of a beaver. Most certainly. (Some girls like that, so no worries.)

I draw the line at cleaning the beaver hides first. I used to just rip their pelts off and sew them together with rawhide.

You used to?

I much prefer catgut when it comes to sewing anal glands and pelts and such. (In a pinch, try piano wire.)

wow thats amazingly hot for some inexplicable reason

RobtheBarbarian

Yeah, now I actually dry them and clean the bits of flesh off the hides. I got tired of hearing people bitch about my woodsy stench.

Who told you it was woodsy?  :grr: I don't think of anal goo as anything close to "woodsy" smelling. Hmmpphhh.

Well, it was really something more like "Oh my GOD, you smell like dead animals and dirt and smoke 'n shit!". As I strangled said person, I couldn't help but wonder if improving my smell might also improve my ability to get along with people.

That is definitely something to think about next time you're in the bubble bath.

If I submerge myself in water my protective crust will wash off and the mosquitoes will be able to get me, not to mention my skin would burn under the harsh Pennsyltuckian summer sun.

Oh, and if the Meet Up has music, we've already established that it will be the soundtrack to the 1986 Transformers Movie. Just pointing that out. Don't worry, Sharktopus says he's on it.
YOU'VE GOT THE TOUCH! YOU'VE GOT THE POWER!

That's a great idea!  Everyone should have their "walk-in" theme music!

:D I've actually thought about this many times. It needs to be something funky, but not too funky - I don't want to drown under the weight of too much funk that I could never live up to. Something appropriately cheezy that I can strut along to while winking and disco pointing at strangers like emo Peter in Spider-Man 3. For a while I thought the beginning of the Stones' "Gimme Shelter" would be good, but now it always makes me think of Jack Nicholson in the trailer for The Departed. Maybe The Who's "Eminence Front," or the intro to "Moby Dick" before John Bonham's solo. Maybe something by "The Music." Too many choices!

We should start a separate thread for entrance themes just to be sure everybody sees it.

but now i got orders to korea.  so my chances of coming are slimmer.  i think ill still try to get out to cali for it.

You get to see the nicest places with the Air Force.  :D  My dad was in the Army during Vietnam. Luckily, he was stationed in the dense jungles of West Germany.  Must've been rough. ;)
