Am I the only one who actually liked Joel's live spots more than the host segs from this ep and the last two seasons?

No, you're not the only one. While it wasn't all that funny, it came across as far less overly scripted than any of the new host segments.

W thought it was a really solid episode. Can't wait till they finalise it and make it available without the extra content.

I understand what they are trying to do - make it an event etc, but unfortunately it actively makes the experience of watching the episode worse IMO.

2 suggestions are either have the extra content before and after, or do shorter breaks where each commercial break would be, rather than a marathon in the middle

Is it me or is the currently available VOD of the episode slightly out of sync? I started to watch it and it seems just slightly out of sync (the MST parts, not the dubbed movie).

Years and years of reauthoring RiffTrax has made me really conscious of sync issues.

Oh, yes, we noticed that too. We assumed it was to do with the stream and it would be fixed when released properly.

Definitely out of sync in mos6 host segments. Theme song and opening host segment eapecially bad.

The good news is thanks to the dubbing, you can't really tell in the movie. It was definitely a streaming thing. It was there when the livestream aired, and will almost definitely be fixed in the final version.

Not to my knowledge, but I haven't really dipped my toes into the MST3K forum yet, so maybe over there?

Probably not until May when the Gizmoplex goes live for everyone.  These backer events are more like advanced rough cuts that they are still working on.

Watching the live stream I didn't notice any sync issues or audio playing it on my Roku connected to my home theater, but a lot of people seem to have had sync and level issues.  I know my Roku had a delay of about a minute or more compared to the website, so that may have helped fix the sync issues?

I thought there was an email with all this but I couldn't find it, had to log in and look up the dates for the live events:

Rough cut stand alone and live stream of 1301 should be available now.
Live stream of "Tribute to Manos"  is March 18th.
Live stream of 1302 is April 1st.
Live stream of 1304 is April 29th

I have activated the beta test for the Gixmoplex. Watched the beginning of the new episode and it is in sync now (at least when I watch it on my computer).

I didn't have an issue with the volume mixing that others did, and stopped just before the riffing started, for now.
