At long last, we've gotten the epic Star Wars conclusion we’ve been waiting for! And afterward, the world cried out as one, “...Oh. Huh.”

Ever since the original premiered in 1977, Star Wars fans have waited to see how the Skywalker saga would end.

Sure, the decades were challenging, with plenty of highs and lows along the way. But finally, at long last, we all got to see the big conclusion we'd been waiting for! And afterward, the world cried out as one, "...Oh. Huh."

But now's the time to dig in with RiffTrax and remember the perhaps most forgettable installment in the saga, Star Wars Episode 9! Hey, not even Police Academy made it to 9 movies, and Police Academy is the high bar against which all other cinema should be measured. Also, how are there only 9 Episodes when we've riffed at least 47 Star Wars movies? Sci-fi is so confusing!

No matter how you feel about it, it's clear that Star Wars will never die. And neither will any of the actors, if Disney's CGI artists have anything to say about it. Everybody's back, nobody's ever really dead, you already know what happens and if you don't, we're definitely not gonna spoil the stirring conclusion for you now!

Fill a glass with that green milk Luke likes so much and settle in with Mike, Kevin and Bill for Star Wars: Episode IX -The Rise of Skywalker!

Okay, I have finally seen the whole thing on Disney+ with the riffing (I have seen the movie in the theater before, just not with the Rifftrax commentary), and I have to say that the movie was a slog and the riffing wasn't good enough to improve the quality of what I was watching. Either this was a film that couldn't be improved by Rifftrax' riffing or Rifftrax didn't do a good enough job riffing the movie, and I don't know which is the right answer, but boy, do I care!

The riffing was very good considering the material. There are so many spots where things just slow down and nothing happens. There isn't even CGI or space battles. Heck I think there are only three light saber fights in the 2hr 30 minutes of it. So there just isn't much for someone watching this to latch onto. As well as how it's hard for these guys to do much with it when they have Riffed nine primary movies plus, what, 5 or 6 of the side movies and Christmas special? Coming up with original material has to be hard without doing something akin to personal attacks at this rate.
Fodder's just this guy, you know.

Finally forced myself to watch this thanks to the guys. It was literally the only way I could make it through this dumpster fire. At least this time out it felt like JJ made a trainwreck because he had a mess to sort out, rather then an intentional middle finger like Ryan did. (Thought I was going to try to make a quality Star Wars movie? Nope, only subverted expectations. Tee hee.)

The Riffs were okay. The movie was such garbage and made me sad that Kennedy and Disney managed to take something that used to be good, and incompetently ran it into the ground like a lawn dart (Actually I liked Rogue One, but aside from that). In all honesty, the knock I had on the prequels is now gone. Sure, they are inferior to the original three, but at least they felt like Star Wars. Even Phantom Menace (I know most people rag on Clones, but I actually liked everything except Haydenson. Which is actually a major thing.)

I can honestly fine nothing redeeming about any of the movies. Maybe Finn in the first act of the first movie, but that was it. It was like watching bad fanfiction given life and a massive budget. I think in a weird way I'd rather which a Lycan Colony sequel. Or Chris Lemmon doing Death of a Salesman. But not another Disney Wars film. Luckily they haven't done any more, and the guys can riff something else I might enjoy.
