Is golf a sport?

[willy6531520]

I personally think of a sport as something that takes skill AND athleticism. Golf, while challenging, is a very bad indicator of athleticism. Golf, like car-racing, bowling, poker, archery, shooting, horse racing, dart throwing, bean bag toss, etc.., takes skill to master but very little athleticism. In contrast, running, swimming, and weightlifting are considered sports but do not necessarily involve skill as much as athletism. Golf is a game of skilled players (golfers) -not a sport of highly-capable athletes.

If Trump can do it then it's not a sport.

This is not logic I can argue with.

Now this is one of the most stupid question i have faced...May be it is a spam..But nevermind..Obviously it is a sport, enjoyed by everyone, loved by some and played by meagre...Many people rate it above games like soccer and basketball...So definitely it is to be considered a sport and it is a sport
