What did we learn from one of the stupidest slasher movies ever.

Somebody saw that cane at a thrift store and thought "That could really hurt someone" and built an entire movie around that premise.

When you shoot and subsequently drown someone, you'd better make sure they're actually dead. Because they absolutely are.

When you drag said body back out of the pool to throw into a dumpster, check and see it's still the same person you killed early that day, because it absolutely is.

When your friends start disappearing, your first assumption should be that it's that old woman back from the dead.

Towels make you less buoyant.

Never let blond women load guns. They will mix up blanks and live rounds and forget how many they put in.

When you are in college, you should be sure to STAY AT THE SORORITY HOUSE with a swamp for a pool and a batty old housemother instead of finding other housing arrangements...and continue to stay there all four years until graduation. Then, have your graduation party there instead of some other better place.

I learned that assault with a deadly weapon qualifies as a "prank".

I learned that a filmmaker can do a blatant homage to  Carnival of Souls and our riffers can miss it (well at least I'm pretty sure that's what it was.)

I caught that too. I kept waiting for the riff to come.

They missed the Leech Woman as Liara in Phantom Planet...

I learned this is the most 'by the numbers 80's style slasher film' ever made. Usually something will be missed, or some originality creeps in whether by design or accident, but not this one.
