I don't think Vulture could carry a movie. Not really sure who's left from Spidey's Rogue's Gallery that could. Too soon in the franchise to go right for Venom. The Goblins and Doc Oc have been done to the point where tackling them again would be folly. Could Marvel loan Kingpin out? I haven't watched the Daredevil series yet. Without spoiling anything, would he still be a viable contender for a Spidey baddy?

Craven the Hunter?

I hope it's half as good as the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon

He COULD be, but I think it's too soon in the Kingpin's story line for that, so probably not.

What are you waiting on? Watch Daredevil!

I'd love to see Rhino done properly. And while I like the idea of Michael Keaton being The Vulture, you just can't beat Larry David as the perfect casting for that.

In looks, yes - In acting ability, not so much :P

I never watched Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I thought he was supposed to have been really good in that. Granted that is a comedy, but still.

It's about on par with Jerry Seinfeld, IMO. Suits the show just fine, but I think him in a super hero movie would result in something hammy like Batman Forever or something like that.

Ah, I see. Yeah, best avoided.
I am a huge fan of the Michael Keaton resurgence we seem to be getting. With him in the Robocop remake, and Birdman especially.

RoninFox

Larry David is good at playing Larry David. Even when he's playing Bernie Sanders on SNL it's funny because he's playing Larry David as Bernie Sanders.

Keaton as JJJ would probably be fun too.

I could see that. And while I doubt anyone could beat J.K. Simmons, Keaton would a be a lot of fun.

Johnny Unusual

J.K. Simmons set a nearly impossible bar.  But he's going off to be Jim Gordon in the DC movie universe, so he won't be coming back (except in the cartoons).  Anyone else have a good idea for a good JJJ?

Edward J Grug III

Yeah, it's a near impossible task.

My vote is Lance Reddick.

Don't know who he is.  Please expound!
