Never saw "The Godfather" and have no idea what the hell "Barney Miller" is.  I would have been 7 from that clip you posted.  Also, I know that MST3K clip, but doesn't help me.

Looking through his IMDB page, I kinda don't blame you. The roles already mentioned are his big ones, most everything else was small roles or guests in one episode of TV shows. He was a character actor, after all.

And I was kidding about Goodburger. He's not the star, he's just a secondary character. It's a terrible movie, and he looks like he accidentally wandered on set.

I know him best as the old guy that Conan used to use all the time in his Late Show sketches.

And Goodburger is a fun movie when you're in a certain mood. It's not great, and its detractors are absolutely right about everything they're detracting about, but there's this underlying atmosphere where it feels like everyone involved is whispering, "Can you believe we're actually making a movie about this?" under their breath.

I remember Abe Vigoda being all over place in the 80's. Just think back then he was 60's something.
