On the one hand it's kind of frustrating to me that it's called The Last Jedi and it's about Luke training Rey to be another Jedi. But on the other hand, from having watched a couple of the old serials because of the iRiff projects (and the Batman one Rifftrax did), I know full well that the title is often completely wrong and misleading in those. So in that way it's accurate.

Eh.  They killed almost all the Jedi, now there are only 2 Jedi. They're the last of the Jedi.

 I'm kind of hoping it means the start of something new, Luke is the end of the Jedi, Rey is the start of a new order.

Since the Sith fell and were replaced by the "Knights of Ren" it would make sense for the Jedi way to evolve into something new as well.
