Hey, let's calm down and think about this for a second.  It's not like they said "Jehovah" or anything.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

I don't think Hobbit should be directed by Raimi.... Ridley Scott please.....

And as for Kirsten Dunst -- I actually think she's right. How could you remove any of those actors / actresses and expect the audience to feel like the movies are still continuous?

I really don't see Ridley Scott capturing the pastoral beauty of Middle Earth. Alfonso Cuaraon, tough, I could.

And give moviegoers a little more credit. Or maybe less. Stick a pretty girl with red hair across from Spider-Man and it's Mary Jane. I sincerely doubt that millions will be flooding theatres in a couple weeks to go see "the new Kirsten Dunst movie." They're going to see Spidey. Do I want to see Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi stick around? Yeah, but I also don't want the franchise to die.

Felicia's my favorite Spider-Man character, and I'd love to see her in a Spidey movie, but I don't see it ever happening. Everyone's familiar with Catwoman, and audiences would bitch about the Spider-Man franchise ripping off Batman. That being said, Elisha Cuthbert has my vote.

Was there a big drive for this at some point? I must have missed it.

Felicia anyone?

Yes, I may have Photoshopped Elisha Cuthbert's head onto Black Cat. And yes, I may be willing to share it if there's popular demand.
