So Mr. Shaw is a wannabe hack who uses New Agey, pseudo-Eastern mysticism to exuse any lack of talent in his crappy ego projects.

I don't think Donald G. Jackson had teamed up with Shaw yet when he made Rollergator. That was when the Zen Filmmaking thing started.

IMDB frequently lists inaccuracies, and there's a credited screenwriter so it's safe to assume Zen Filmmaking wasn't used in this thing.

IMDB is correct in this case. Scott Shaw is affiliated with two companies: Zen Films (which handles this blowhard's unscripted movies) and Light Source Films (which handles the scripted material). The listed screenwriter "Matt X. Lawrence" is actually a pseudonym of Donald Jackson. On other movies he also used "Maximo T. Bird" (*SIGH*). And on some films where he did triple duty as director, screenwriter,  and screenplay adapter, he used all three names.

BTW Rollergator is one of three "childrens" movies Jackson did in the same period. These include Baby Ghost and Little Sea Serpent. He truly loved playing with his puppet.

Two other notes, Donald Jackson passed away from leukemia in 2003. And Jackson, Scott Shaw and Joe Estevez were essentially the dark triad behind both companies from their first collaboration on Rollerblade 7 in 1990.

This tidbit on Donald Jackson from IMDB:

Worked in a factory with his friend and co-directed Jerry Younkins. There was an accident in the factory and Younkins lost a couple of fingers. The insurance settlement was $8000, which Jackson and Younkins quickly decided to use to cover some production costs for their first film, The Demon Lover.

These people are not human.
