Like Bubba Stark jacking it up, putting big tires and a light rack on it and naming it "Thunder Horse".

He looks like Fiberglass Man more than Iron Man. Like he's in danger of a teenager putting a body kit and a fake hood scoop on him.

:D  *wonders how he can do that in Photoshop*

QuoteIt was first reported last year that Samuel L Jackson had shot a cameo as Nick Fury in the upcoming "Iron Man" film. This was a sign that Paramount was preparing an eventual "Avengers" movie, by first introducing all the characters.

Now, William Hurt (A History of Violence) has revealed that in addition to Nick Fury, we will also get to see General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in "Iron Man." Ross is the father of Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) in this year's "The Incredible Hulk."

"I have a scene with Iron Man, with Robert Downey Jr.," said Hurt during a press conference at Sundance. "It's a funky scene. I don't know how it'll work. I know it's weird [to work with a character from another movie], and to know it's a device. We did something; I don't know what that's going to be like [to watch]."

There hasn't been any talk of him having organic rockets, has there?

What do you mean by organic? If you're asking if the practical suit can really fly, I'm guessing no. ;)

And for those who miss the old school eyeholes:

And why does the helmet have a receding hairline?  :D
In theory, practice and theory are the same. In practice, they aren't.

No Samuel L Jackson... BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!
QuoteLast year, AICN reported that Samuel L Jackson has shot a cameo as SHIELD director Nick Fury for the upcoming "Iron Man" film. The idea was to introduce the new character and then possibly give Fury his own movie.

Now, ComicBookResources attended this weekend's Wizard World Los Angeles, where the site learned that Samuel L. Jackson's scene may get cut out of "Iron Man." Chud suggests that the Nick Fury will likely appear on the "Iron Man" DVD.

At this point, General Ross (William Hurt from "The Incredible Hulk") will make a cameo in "Iron Man" and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr. from "Iron Man") will show up in "The Incredible Hulk." All these cameos are laying the groundwork for a possible "Avengers" movie down the line.

Considering how they treated "Hulk" after a little petty criticism, seems like a bad idea to set up actors from one franchise in a second franchise based on a tenuous possibility of a third franchise. Because inevitably, they aren't going to be able to get the same actors for an Avengers movie, and it will be rushed and poorly done, Justice League style, in Australia, with a cheap unknown cast. Since they obviously don't have anyone under contract for an Avengers movie, why spoil it with the hopes that it will be featuring all the same cast? Besides, as I've heard cried on other forums, why is the Hulk "our only hope" if Iron Man exists in the same time and continuity? Couldn't they find the bar he was at?

QuoteThe Onion is tackling another tough topic, this time, whether it is a good idea to turn the "Iron Man" trailer into a full feature film. Fans around the world are worried that the adaptation of the popular trailer will be a disaster and will not live up to the original 90-second story's vision.

Apparently, Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise their roles in the feature film, expanding Paltrow's part from 3/4 of a second to possibly 20 minutes. Can it be done successfully?

On May 2nd, fans will get a chance to see whether the new film will come close to the popularity of the trailer or will the entire thing just turn out to be another Hollywood mistake.
