I learned that if you ignore the back story at the beginning of the film the "Hero" can make a deal to sleep with his sister as payment for rescuing the kingdom.
How he and her did not remember each others names or connect that they were related, I have no idea.

After all his sister and brother were not killed and they were clearly the prince and princess in this film. Why was this never pointed out.

The prince and princess were somebody else's kids, there's a blink and you'll miss it line of dialogue about it.

Yeah I learned that after searching to see what that was about. Though I am not the first to make that mistake apparently.

I learned that there is a sword and sorcery movie with even worse pacing than Krull. (Not Krull the conquerer with Kevin Sorbo, After the first ten minutes loaded with offscreen magic war and fate-deciding battles, I spent a lot of time waiting for the movie to take off. I was shocked when I looked up and realized I was an hour in.

I also learned if you grab a random drapery and swing on it while carrying the weight of a full grown woman, it won't break sending you both plummeting to the concrete floor.

I knew I recognized that name and his voice. He sounds just like his younger brother, Barry who done a lot of acting work for the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society.

Oh, I learned that a cheap Conan rip-off was a closer portrayal of Robert Howard's original character* than Ah-nold's
