Here  is a thread so we can discuss cell phones of all different types and issues we have with our phones.

As I mentioned in the Awesome Pictures thread, I have a new Galaxy 3S that I really like. I have already dropped it, though and the screen has broken so I need to get it fixed. I have the insurance through Sprint. Has anybody had any issues getting phones fixed through their insuance?

I have a cover I bought on Amazon that should arrive any day now, but I still want suggestions if there are any really cool nerdy covers for it.

For my iPhone, I like the thin, rubber, black cases that just cover the back.

The thinner case, the thinner the phone and I like that.   Just covering the back has worked on me for years.

I just ordered a Samsung Galaxy Express, it's a smaller version of the SIII.  I wish it was even smaller but they just don't make them as small as I would like.  Now I just have to find a case and/or belt holster for it.

I sort of don't want to get a smart phone (and the extra $30/month for the data plan), but they just don't seem to have any good regular phones any more.  My old razrV3 is indestructible, but I can't get batteries that last for it any more.  The equivalent replacements look really crappy to me.

Well, I got the phone but Amazon Wireless didn't send the info for the phone, the new sim card or the rate plan to AT&T.  So I had to spend about a half hour on the phone getting it provisioned and my plan updated.  It all went well and the customer rep was nice, but it did take a while.

Update: I sent Amazon Wireless an email telling them they didn't send AT&T the phone and sim data, and they gave me $15 to spend on downloads and apps.

Upgraded from a iPhone 4 to a 5. Holy crap, Safari is so much faster with the new processor.  That's all I've noticed so far, I have to wait till Friday when I get back NY to put all my apps and what not on it.  But man, Safari loads just about as fast as the browser on my PC. LTE helps, but the real difference is the processor because wifi is super fast now too.
