...

I have to admit that i'm dissapointed that Rob Zombie would do a remake at this point in his career. His first film wasn't terribly impressive because it felt like Zombie was actually trying to make an explotation film like those he admires so much... rather than make an original film that was simply influenced by those "classics".

He did quite well in redeeming himself with The Devil's Rejects though. It felt like Zombie had finally gotten the urge out of his system to borrow and steal every cliche from his favorite grindhouse films. Those influences were still present in Rejects, but the film felt more cohesive and original.

Halloween could be a great film... it actually looks like it will be! But i'm just sorry that i won't see anything original from Zombie for awhile. It's too bad that i'll have to settle for a remake of Halloween while The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto awaits release in limbo, or that we'll never actually see Werewolf Women Of The S.S. <jk!>  :D

Oh well... that's just my selfish opinion, anyway~

I thought that House of 1000 Corpses was excellent. And I would love to see a feature-length version of Werewolf Women Of The S.S. :)
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

As I continue the high jacking of this thread......

I bet anything that "Werewolf Women of the SS" will be made.

I'm a huge Rob Zombie fan but I hate his film making.  I loved the trailer in Grindhouse, but I have really hated everything else he's done.  More torture porn, which I don't like too much...

Love his music, though.  Eh, whatarya gonna do?  *shrug*

Maybe the whole torture/porn thing will fade away.    People CAN make horror movies with lovingly shot torture scenes, right?    RIGHT??

I'd almost take you up on that bet. Because, i mean... really?
You think this could actually get made today?

Zombie had a hard enough time trying to get House made, let alone distibuted. The studio dropped the movie once they saw what he had filmed! I'd love to see WWSS, but i doubt it'll ever make it to a theater. But here's to hoping for an underground DVD someday!~

Well, if that pictures really does it for you... there are plenty of Nazisploitation films that are right up your alley. May i suggest that you begin with Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS then perhaps move on to SS Experiment Camp AKA SS Experiment Love Camp~

I've seen both these films, and I must say, the best things about them are their posters.   :)
