That thing has to be out of date... how does (or would) Universal still have the rights to Namor?
More importantly, who does (or would) want to see a Namor movie? Universal just having the Namor rights feels like the slow kid at a kindergarten who arrived last at the toybox and could only take the last, sad, toy left.

My local theater is already pre-selling tickets to the 3D/Imax showings at 7pm on April 30th... on Fandango.
Believe me, I hate Fandango. I'd just as soon rather buy tickets straight from the theater but the one in question
usually doesn't start selling until a week before the movie's release.

James Spader is a weird voice for Ultron.  A breathy hollywood pretty boy voice is not what's called for here.  What about a screechy Cobra Commander or a modulated gravelly Stacy Keach?

Darth Geek

Spader's voice seems to be heavily modulated in the trailers we've seen so far.

So I wonder how much of the Ultron plot is going to be lifted fro Pinoccio. Does the AI watch the downloaded movie and then decide to rebel? Will we see a robot donkey at any point?

Yeah, the Marvel Universe could use an out-and-out antihero.  Punisher has yet to be successful, but Namor, in the early days, both reluctantly saved the world while vowing revenge on it.  The Hulk just wants to be left alone, but Namor is often actively antagonizing the world.

So there's more to his character than being an arrogant prick?

Do you think the world has had enough of this Aquaman wannabe? "Nay...more!"

Yes and no.  He's a bit more like a pro-active Hulk: both pretty much hate the world, but Hulk just wants to be left alone while Namor just wants to beat up the world.  They softened the character when WWII roled around and he went around fighting Nazi's, but he's oscillated between being a hero and a villain (to the point where he was the lead in the comic Super-Villain Team Up, where he was co-lead with Dr. Doom).  Mostly he was striking because (in the Golden Age) humans caused an oil spill and he decided to force humans to stay away from the sea and later because after overcoming amnesia (explaining where he went after WWII), he learns that his kingdom has fallen into ruin and believed that humanity was responsible, causing him to try to find his place in the world, as well as waging war on it for taking his people. If anything, his role could be even more influential in the Marvel Universe as a whole: as a "hero", even more than Hulk, this guy is someone we should be afraid of.  But obviously, they aren't going to slip him into Civil War, unless it's a big surprise.

I guess you could say he's a wannabe in the same way that The Shadow is a Batman wannabe or that Flash Gordon is a Star Wars wannabe.  In other words, Namor came in first by 2 years, and in fact inspired a number of aquatic heroes (most of whom are forgotten now).

Pak-Man

Pretty sure Sogoru was just looking for an excuse to let the "Nae more" pun loose.

Pretty much, yeah.

So what are everyone's bets on who bites it in this movie?  It's "someone important" from what Entertainment Weekly says.

(It won't be, but it would be hilarious if it was Spider-Man because of all the haggling over the rights to the character.)

It also would be funny if it was Coulson.  "Dammit Phil! This **** again?" - Fury

If they hadn't already announced Civil War, my guess would have been Cap and having Falcon or Bucky take over the shield.

But my guess is it will be Jarvis so he can become Vision.

But Jarvis is just a artificial intelligence, so he wouldn't "die" to become The Vision.
