You know as much as us about how the MCU Infinity Gems work, but I'm no expert on the comics version, as I have barely read any of the cosmic stuff.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity_Gems#Description

Might help, but I think they've been treated a bit loosey goosey in the comics, and maybe they will be different in the MCU.

But this gem is the intelligence gem, that enhances intelligence, at least that's my understanding.

Saw it again last night.  Regarding where the second Ultron came from:

Hydra was clearly working on an Ultron prototype.  When Tony gets the scepter, there is a version of Ultron in the lab. When Tony is working on creating Ultron, he mentions that Hydra was working on advanced robotics.  When the first dumpy Ultron is smashed by Thor's hammer, right away, the robot production starts up in the Hydra facility, the camera pans out, and reveals that it is, indeed, the Hydra facility.

I wish they have done more by now to establish Thanos's character. I love the look (especially his floating space chair). And I like what we learn about him with his dismissive attitude towards Ronan. But we haven't even established why he wants the stones. And worst of all, we haven't actually seen Death, or even established that in the Marvel Universe it's a woman character. And given that the only space oriented movie we'll see before Infinity War is Guardians of the Galaxy 2, I hope they do more with Thanos in that.

What about Ragnarok and Captain Marvel? They could do Death stuff there, right?

Good point, you are right about Ragnarok. But Captain Marvel is coming out after Infinity Wars I

I read a thing on Facebook that raised a great point I didn't notice, Scarlet Witch tries to destroy the Avengers by showing them their worst nightmare but in the end only hers comes true...

Scottotd on Instagram

"A thing I like that there was no chance would ever continue until recently is now continuing but it doesn't meet my exact personal specifications so fuck this"

- how I read any complaint about MST3k (or Star Wars or Ghostbusters)

Presumably Tony's could still come true in Avengers 3, and Thor's could come true in Ragnarok.
What I am wondering is, what did Hulk see? Seems like that would be the most interesting one.

Yeah, Thors dream is definitely a set up for Ragnarok.  By the way, that whole pointless subplot of him dragging Selvig to the mystery pool for some reason to find out the rest of the dream didnt actually show him anything new.  If it did he made no mention of it in the movie which made it a waste of screen time.   I am not really sure what was going on with Steves though.  Was his fear that he couldnt bang Peggy Carter?

His wasn't as much a fear as a regret, though there is the fear that: 1. he will likely die alone and 2. as has been hinted he can never leave war behind.

The dream sequences were frustrating because they were so vague. It was very unclear how much control over them Scarlet Witch had. At first I figured she did, she looked like she had a plan. And it wouldn't make sense to just let it up to chance that what each of them would see would mentally fuck with them. But then she seemed horrified at what she saw, responding as if they were really seeing the future.

Scarlet Witchs powers are whatever the plot needs her to do at the time.

She was reading their minds at the same time as manipulating them, or else how could she know what kind of manipulation would work? If she knows how to find someone's fears or negative emotions she can then push them into focus. At least that's how I read it.
