103 Movies You Have To See or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Poll

[Invader_quirk]

I'll nomminate The Deer Hunter.

I think when you spell "nominate" that way, it actually means "to eat quickly".

[Kete]

Poll complete (a while ago.  Sorry for the delay).  The winners are:
The Princess Bride
Patton
Stand By Me

I nominate The Artist for the next round.

We need one more movie.

[Tripe]

Fitzcarraldo

[Starman!]

I voted for Avatar, The Deer Hunter and Shadow of a Doubt (even though I admit I haven't seen it)

[Asbestos Bill]

I haven't actually seen (all of) Man Bites Dog, but I feel like I Have To.

Also: We can't change votes on this one?

[MontyServo]

I haven't seen enough of these movies to vote this time around.

[Darth Geek]

Hard list this time. There is no way I am voting for Avatar, and 101 Dalmations is only memorable because of the villain. So had to go with Deer Hunter, The Artist and Fizcarraldo, three movie I haven't actually seen.

have to say i like the deer hunter but im not sure if i would say its a must see.  parts of it are but parts of it drag like no other.  trying a bit too hard to make it godfather style epic imho.

All fine choices I almost voted the same way except The Deer Hunter lost out to City Of God. Some fine choices on this current list.

Yeah it does drag out way too much.

Oops! Sorry. I don't think I can change it.

[Smith Dr John Smith]

It's sad to see that I am one of only two people who voted for Shadow Of A Doubt:(

Can I nominate The Adventures of Robin Hood again now?  I really think it is the best adventure film ever made.

[Starman!]

I'll nominate Terminator 2

[ScottotD]

Dawn of the Dead

[Asbestos Bill]

To add to Asbestos Bill's post: The word is "nominate," not "nomminate." One m.

That was Quirk.
