General Movie News

[Edward J Grug III]

I'm more interested in news about that Watch TV show that's apparently? Still happening...

Never even heard of that - Who is making it?

[Imrahil]

I don't know what TV company. Narrativia was developing it. Last substantial news on it dates from like 2013 or something.

That's not promising. I just googled and it said filming was to start in 2015. I hope it isn't dead in the water.

That's my initial reaction to most DreamWorks animated films. Usually justified.

I recently saw the new trailer for Lego Batman. Looks amazing. It could be as funny as the Lego Movie.

It's weird to hear Michael Cera do an excited little boy voice.  He does it well, though.

From a twitter feed today:
"See a clip from 'Yoga Hosers', Kevin Smith's new comedy starring Johnny Depp and his daughter..."

Okay, copywriters? I can't tell if the film has Depp and Depp's daughter or Depp and Smith's daughter from that sentence.

(And dear Lord, how is Harley 17 already? She was just born! Get off my lawn!)

Has anyone seen the trailer for the movie "Sausage Party"? It's animated and R-rated. I do not like the look of this, not... one...bit.
