As unnecessary as this is (You know, because the first Space Jam SUUUUUUCKED!), this at least doesn't seem to just be a rehash of it. Plus if Don Cheadle gets to really have some fun as the villain it might be worth it.

So apparently there is an anime LOTR War Of The Rohirrim in development. I'd be more interested if it didn't seem to be centering around the humans. They were the least interesting cultures in LOTR.

My prediction is this will be number 2 on my "top 3 movies featuring the fate of protagonists decided by a basketball game" sandwiched between the original Space Jam and The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island.

Bold statement I know.
