I love that Carnage's body looks like muscle and sinew. It's really a shame this isn't a rated R horror movie like it should be.

I can guarantee it would be terribly schlocky either way.

I never watched Venom, but I was pretty shocked by the comedic tone.

Adult Swim has just announced movies for Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, and Venture Bros. They'll be released to Blu-Ray/DVD, and then to HBO Max.

I've been wondering if they would go this kind of route with Venture Bros in particular since they ended the series so abruptly and then claimed they were still willing to continue the story somehow.

I'm not sure if this will be a better or worse road, considering the past couple years of Mandalorians and Limited Marvel Serieses has shown the advantages of a series over movies, especially when dealing with the extremely high level of lore that Venture Bros has built up in its history, but considering the huge amount of time it takes for a new season...maybe this is a good compromise. Maybe we can get a movie a year or so instead of half a season maybe once every two and a half years on average.

are they gonna advertise this aqua teen movie the same way they did the first one?

Unintentionally triggering a terrorist attack scare is the kind of thing I think you only get to do once in your career.

But what if, this time, they include a prominent "this is totally not a bomb" sticker?

I hope it's not just a straight remake again. I like the idea of a prequel better. Because it could either be about the Micmac tribe starting the whole thing. Or it could be about the interesting story that Jud tells in the book about the family who brings their son Timmy Baterman back after being killed in the war.
