Besides the both characters being thin women with coloured hair I don't see the Quinn comparison

Gothy/punk-ish charismatic psychotic anti-villain with a flair for the eccentric perhaps?

By that logic we can pre-categorize the rest of Helena Bonham Carter's future filmography right here right now.

Gothy - yeah
Charismatic - debatable
Psychotic - hit or miss
Anti-villain - uhhh
Eccentric - sure

Btw I'll admit that if there were no previous Cruela De Vil character, my mind probably wouldn't go there. But this Emma Stone version has been changed. Drastically. And the best way to describe the difference is describing a watered-down Disney-fied DCEU Harley Quinn.

ScottotD

Again, in the same way Taken, Speed, John Wick, Cliffhanger, Con Air, etc, etc, etc was a watered down ripoff of John McLane.

Kelsey Grammer is going to play an aging rocker in The Space Between.

He looks like Kenny Rogers playing Weird Al.

He he ever been any kind of box office draw? besides X-Men 3 (I think?) or one of the Expendables movies I can't remember a movie I've seen him in and I only remember the Expendables one because I thought it was hilarious he was in a movie that's supposed to be about male manly men being butch (and he wore a bucket hat)

So soon we forget the powerhouse performance of Money Plane.

I don't think he's in Down Periscope. Are you thinking of the McHale's Navy movie?

Doing that as an actual horror? hmmm
I could see it working if the Munsters were their likable selves but the movie was from the point of view of the townspeople that found them horrifying. But I'm not sure if that would sustain a whole movie length, and the fact that it's called The Munsters makes the audience in on the reveal.

The problem is that Rob Zombie movies are just filled with unlikable loathsome characters. Which is exactly the opposite of The Munsters. You need someone like Taika Waititi to do this.

Pak-Man

Well we don't KNOW that he's going to go all in with his usual trademark gory-horror. Maybe he'll play it straight-up and add a bit of an edge, Addams Family style.

ScottotD

Also, does anyone give AF about The Munster?
