I do at least like that the turtles are already in operation before the movie starts. Yeah, there'll be an origin (most likely in a flashback) but at least we won't have to watch half the movie before they even start doing anything cool.

Man, I wish they'd give the Nickelodeon series a proper DVD release instead of doling it out in little mini collections.

I think they will eventually.  I find with cartoons aimed at kids, they first release a bunch of mini-collections that parents will pick up for their kids, then they'll start releasing the DVDs of seasons.  Of course, that might not happen until season 2 or 3 are finished, if Adventure Time is a yardstick...

The show is doing pretty well.  It looks like its already renewed for season 3, hopefully the inevitable failure of the movie doesnt affect the show.
