I agree about disliking the new poster designs. Almost didn't buy the Captain America riff because the poster made me think it was a "rifftrax presents" and I couldn't figure out who did the riff.

I felt the same, so I made this.

Had to make a correction, should be back up soon.

Geez, we take it down for 10 freaking minutes...

I still don't see it and it's been  lot longer than 10 'freaking' minutes.
FINE

Yeah, that is much better. Never thought I would say that about Bill in drag, but...

So, what is the rule of posters now ?
Sometimes it`s the guys and sometimes it`s drawn.

Yeah, well, y'know. That's, just like, your opinion, man.

Just found out about this. Don't think I've seen this movie. Might have it in one of my box sets somewhere. Italtian horror. Should be interesting.

But I gotta tell ya', I really really can't stand the new poster designs.

I'm beggin' ya', PLEASE bring back the Mike/Kevin/Bill bobbleheads.

Even with DisembAudio, it just doesn't look like it's a RiffTrax product without them on the posters.

I appreciate all the effort, and I know what you're trying to go for, but I honestly don't think it's helping define the brand. I think it's actually taking away from the iconic format that was working before...

Having Mike Kevin and Bill on the covers in some way (as well as Disembaudio) is what makes it distincly for a Rifftrax product and not the movie itself.

I agree with these.  Without Mike Kevin and Bill, there's just 'a distorted poster', not a parody/clearly-'RiffTrax' poster.

Yeah: THAT is a distinctly RiffTrax poster!  Thanks eegah!

By the way: I know that it is The Powers That Be, not Jason Martian that made the 'film-actors-not-M/K/B' decision.  So no complaints about Jason's work.  Just please bring back the Mike/Kevin/Bill posters for the RiffTrax.

I never look at the posters.   Are they even necessary?

I think so. For one, they provide an eye-catching and humorous label for the website, especially on the individual product pages.

However, I have to agree that the new style just isn't working. I guess I just don't get the point of using the actual faces of the actors. It's not very funny nor is it all that interesting.

I opened up this discussion to general RiffTrax users (who might not stop in this specific thread).

That thread - Bring Back the Mike, Kevin & Bill RiffTrax Movie 'Posters' - is here: http://forum.rifftrax.com/index.php?topic=23444.0 if anyone wants to comment on that, rather than this specific VOD.

I wonder how many emails I am going to get about this release.... I think I've counted about 26 already.

Is there something wrong with the mailing list?!?  Janelle also says she gets about 4-10 (for a more realistic number) emails about each release too....

Weird, I just got my first one today and thought it was odd it was coming so late.

Yeah, I just got the Ghosthouse e-mail today as well. I don't think I've ever received duplicates. Beefer, your innertubes be all messed up 'n' shit.

Well if Janelle wasn't having the same thing happen to her, then maybe I'd think it was just my interwebs.  Next time there's a new release, I'll count how many emails I get.

Is it possible to have ended up on the mailing list multiple times??
