*sigh* I would say Spielberg has sold out, but he's the one in charge here making all these terrible decisions! Not to mention it was his idea to make the first one centered around a kid getting his first car. As much as I blame Michael Bay for these Transformers movie being soooo ungodly bad, Spielberg is a lot to blame, too. Such a shame.

I certainly can't imagine anybody other than Michael being equipped to make another Transformers.

BULLSHIT! The Transformers franchise was a guaranteed moneymaker from it's concept alone. Literally the only way it wouldn't have made a ton of money is if it had been misguidedly trying to be deep and ended up boring (a la Ang Lee's HULK, and that movie did make money).

As for Indy 5...at least Spielberg didn't mention that it would be based around Shia's character. By the time it gets made, Harrison Ford is going to be a pile of dust. In which case, I really don't see any point in doing it at all, or even doing a reboot.
