I learned that ALL of the animals in the movie were harmed at one point or another.

I learned that a 50 cal shot to the arm is annoying and takes a while to heal but really it's not a permanent problem

I learned that I need to try buffalo tongue stew

I learned the Native Americans weren't very good with rifles and that a broken jaw is an annoyance used to teach a lesson

I learned to fear racoons
Fodder's just this guy, you know.

Chimental

I learned all the advantages of riding a buffalo(bison) instead of a horse.

-People want to shoot you for the hell of it.

-Attracts all the starving hunters that prey on buffalo.

-Shaking a baby is as easy as a simple stroll.

-Ford rivers with the same difficulty of doing it in Oregon Trail. (really glad they did those jokes)

-Able to find your ride in a crowded parking lot.

-Enter bars and become invincible.

camber

I learned where the inspiration for the cougars in Red Dead Redemption came from.

CJones

I learned that newborns have incredibly good memory, particularly for stuff they weren't even around to witness.

Yeah, I guess the bad guys gave detailed information to those guys in the bar before they were killed, and it got written down somewhere....

Or maybe the entire movie is a load of buffalo dung, if you look up the real "Buffalo" Jones, his life was nothing like what is depicted in the movie, he tamed some and helped save them from extinction by preserving some small herds on ranches, but I can't find any mention of him ever riding them.

Blaine

I learned that babies can read the minds of Buffalo so they can explain to their future grandchildren exactly what the animal was thinking.

that every mountain contains both a tunnel through said mountain, and a balrog to guard it.
also that hiking can cause a spontaneous beer commercial to spring into existence.

Darth Geek

I learned that the narrator was the grandson of the baby . I did NOT learn who the second narrator was.

I learned that the director of Catching Trouble teamed up with Coleman Francis to make a movie.

I learned that cougars are just dicks who are frightened of racoons.

Thrifty

I learned how to add 10 minutes to my movie.

I learned a really clever name in case I ever end up with a pet raccoon.

I learn that babies born in the 1880s have better cognitive skills than modern babies, and are able to remember things that happened in the first year of your life (long term memory in real life doesn't start to develop until around age 3 or 4).

Not to mention they are tough enough to withstand days of shaking that would have shattered any kid's spine.

And don't forget that during that shaking, they can be dragged across rivers underwater without drowning!

MST3Kgirl

I learned that a great response to a cougar attack is a swift uppercut. Works every time.

I learned people don't mind you coming into the town and start killing people as long as you just say that you know they killed someone else.
