Heath Ledger is confirmed as playing the Joker.

So far the casting for this movie is looking pretty awesome.

I don't see the correlation at all...

And Eckhart is playing Dent in this movie, and will likely not play Two-Face yet...as the article states.

I'm becoming a believer that Chris Nolan can do anything he wants.  Thank god Schumacher isn't around the Batman franchise anymore.  For complete bodies of work I can't think of anyone who I enjoyed every movie that they've put out.  The Following was decent,  I loved Memento, Insomnia was great, I really liked Bale as Batman, and The Prestige was my favorite movie this past year.

Actually it's been confirmed a couple times already. The website Batman On Film has been on top of all the rumors and pretty much nailed this one a month ago.

But yeah someone saw Eckhart speaking this weekend and he confirmed he's got the Dent / Two-Face role. Not sure how much of Two Face we'll see in the movie though, if Nolan is smart (which he is) he'll not introduce him until more towards the end. But ya never know.

I have complete faith in Nolan to make another kickass Bat-flick.

I second that, Torgos. Nolan is a masterful director. Teamed up with his brother, they are an unstoppable force. I'm gonna be first in line to get The Prestige tomorrow. Now in my top 10 films.
