I've learned that even if your opponent's -muscular- arms are twice the girth of your -waist-, you can STILL beat them in an arm wrestling match.

As long as you move your fingers slightly.

Tyrant

Yeah, finger movement is everything in a competition involving brute strength and leverage.

Pretty much, I think a really effeminate T-shirt is another trade secret

We learned that a kid can drive to the airport and board a plane, AND buy a ticket, with no one noticing or being suspicious.

It was the 80s.  I think we should have learned that the 80s was a way cool and easy going time.

Like Mike said in road house...the 80's left no doubt in anyones head that it was in fact the 80's

Ah for the days when they'd just let you run out onto the tarmac, only to emerge stealthily from the luggage carousel. :^)

I learned that having actual arm wrestling champions make cameos in your arm wrestling movie will give you great cred in the arm wrestling world. What's the significance to you and me? hmm...

I also learned that Cathy's Florist sure does have great parking.

Cathy's Florist.

I learned that a suvivor-esque power theme can make even the lamest 80's montages seem cool..I bet if that "winner take all" song was playing in an accounting firm it'd look cool by comparison, at least if I was back in the 80's

Tyrant

Oh, "winner take all" power themes don't just work for 80's montages. They can make any scene in any movie (or, heck, real life) awesome.

I should carry that song around on my ipod and blast it through speakers when I enter a room.  ROCK!

I always wanted night on bald mountain to start blasting when i enter a room or get off a plane.  But the lights would have to dim and a fog machine would have to start blasting as well.

Well, remember that Starbucks commercial with survivor following around some random guy...

...I bet they'd play power themes for you for like 5 bucks, they can't be doing anything else nowadays...
